Nissan Altima - My path is my path

For the new Nissan Altima campaign, Velvet Mediendesign invited me to collaborate on a commercial that combines live-action footage of the car and driver with a fully 3D-animated environment — an abstract city made of light, pattern, and architectural forms. Created for the UAE and Middle Eastern market, the film draws inspiration from traditional patterns and modern landmark architecture.
It was both a challenging and deeply rewarding project — a perfect blend of creative direction and hands-on production. I feel honoured and proud to have been part of such an amazing team.

My Roles

From early concept to final delivery, I helped define the visual direction and style of the commercial. I created an extensive library of abstract architectural forms and led a team of 3D artists in building and animating the city environments.
  •    Concept & Look Development – defining the overall visual direction and aesthetic of the film
  •    Environment Design – developing the abstract architecture and arranging the city environments
  •    Motion Design Lead – guiding a team of 3D artists to ensure visual consistency and quality across all shots
  •    3D Animation & Rendering – contributing to animation and rendering during the final production

Abstract Architecture Environment

The city was conceived as a digital reflection of individuality — combining futuristic forms with subtle references to UAE architectural landmarks. The goal was to create a world that felt both technological and poetic, serving as a seamless stage for the Altima’s journey.
My approach was to deconstruct existing architectural structures, isolating a single defining element — a façade, an outline, or a structural motif — and using it as a building block to construct this new abstract city.

Pattern R&D

A key creative focus was the use of pattern as a visual metaphor for individuality. We explored Arabic geometric motifs and modern interpretations of Middle Eastern design, integrating these patterns into the city’s structures and animations.
Using Cinema 4D’s MoGraph tools, I developed intricate animated patterns that became a defining element of the visual language.
