Space Night
Space Night is a late-night television program that combines breathtaking space imagery with ambient music. Over the years, it has achieved iconic status for its unique blend of science and beauty. When Alpenblick invited me to join their team for the redesign of Space Night, I was genuinely honored.
During the early stages of the project, I contributed to the overall look development and design direction. I then moved on to animating the opening sequence, including the refreshed logo. Later, I created a series of virtual studio backgrounds designed as backdrop for greenscreen footage of the show’s host.
This project was a joy to work on — from taking a deep dive into space aesthetics during R&D to producing and delivering the final pieces together with a fantastic team.

Studio Loops
For the studio backgrounds, I combined design elements from the opener and arranged them on multiple layers in 3D space to create the impression of a futuristic stage. A reflective floor enhances the sense of depth and amplifies the staging of the layered composition.
