CBC Channel Redesign

Velvet Mediendesign commissioned me to work with them on the redesign of the private entertainment channel CBC from egypt. 
At the beginning of the project my task was to develop a series of abstract explorations based on the central idea of energy translated into motion. To utilze the energy and the dynamic of real live dancers, we used motion capture data as starting point. The resulting layouts were the basis for the further development of the on-air design and several channel idents. Later in the project I worked on animating on-air elements like the logo, channel bug, and countdown.
